Mali Chaturachinda
graduated with a BA in Communcation Arts from Chulalongkorn University and later took another BA in Graphic Design (1st Class Honours) from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. She received her Master’s Degree in Communication Art and Design from Royal College of Art, UK. After she graduated, she came back to Thailand and founded be>our>friend Studio along with Pomm Jitpratak and Nattavut Luenthaisong. While the studio continue to grow steadily, she is also spending much of her time in a small cozy studio working with Phantipa Thanchookiet on book binding projects. Whether it’s to satisfy one’s obsession or merely a personal research, together they produced numerous artistic books under the name Likay Bindery.
Pomm Jitpratuk
defines himself as an illustrator. He graduated with a foundation degree from Wimbledon School of Art in United Kingdom and BA in Graphic Design at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London. Pomm met Mali in London and started their friendship since then. He is well-known for his signature filigree figurative painting. Two years ago he has been selected by Wallpaper magazine Bangkok as a 'first-class people' for illustration section, at age of 25 he has been selected by Volume magazine as a 'young successor' before 30. Whilst working as an artistic director at the studio, Pomm continued to paint for his solo exhibition; Precious in 2004, Paramour in 2005, Demi-god in 2006, Lubland in 2008, Because you are not holy anymore in 2009 and Silver Spoon in 2010.
Nattavut Luenthaisong
graduated with BE Mechanical Engineering from Chiang Mai University and from his interested in graphic design he continued his MFA in Graphic Design from Chulalongkorn University. Nattavut is a new media artist focusing on digital interaction from software development to physical computing. His passion and skill on coding, audience experience as well as a knowledge on limited-period interaction create an original site-specific space and unexpected device.
