Q concept

From the initial concept of 'The Sphere' that we got from the client, we imediately thought of 'The globe'. When combining 'The globe' and 'A book', we decided to make a spherical paper construction that could flatten into a book to form a new way of reading. In order to make a spherical book, we choose to use geodesic sphere as a template together with the study of Buckminster Fuller's Dymaxion Projection map that create to achieve the most accurate visualisation of the earth in two dimensions. As for the content of the book, we experiment with different ways of connecting illustration on each page as the story that could incorporate focus products of the shop. The result is a equilateral triangless lookbook with 3 tiny pop-ups that could be constructed into a sphere.
